I Fiori Blu di Sicilia is a cultural organization, established in 2005. It is focused on delivering language learning opportunities in Palermo and Agrigento, Sicily. The center has established close ties with travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, and schools in order to create the cultural and language experiences it offers. The Italian language programs offered by the organization are based on the communicative approach and are centered around the four language skills - listening, speaking, reading, writing. The standard course provided is divided into two parts: “Language Analyses" and "Communicative Tasks". The language analyses activities include controlled oral and written production, while the communicative tasks include listening and reading comprehension and free oral and written activities.
