The Baleares International College is a school based in Mallorca, Spain. Since its founding in 1957, it has been serving the foreign community there. Pupils are accepted from the age of 3 and usually remain at the school until they have completed their advance level examinations. The school follows the National Curriculum of England and Wales, and in addition includes Spanish Language (from Nursery), German language (from age 6 for native speakers and age 9 for non-native) and French language (from 14). The academic program prepares pupils for international IGCSE and A-Level examinations, whilst all teaching staff is fully qualified in their subjects; most of them have gained their degrees in the UK. The Baleares International College is accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Education and is a member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS).
