Concordia Language Villages is US pioneer in the provision of language education. Created in 1961, the organization consider themselves a leader in the field of cultural and language education for young people. Concordia has created instructional courses for fifteen languages as well as a wide array of year-round programs. These are designed for learners of all ages, including youth, families, adults, and educators. Some of the options offered are Summer Villages, Pre-Kindergarten for young children; Family Weeks or Weekends for families; Cultural Workshops and Professional Development for adults; as well as Teacher Seminars for educators. Some of the languages offered include Arabic, Danish, French, Italian, Finnish, German English, Russian, etc.
