Located in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, United States, DeSales University started its operations in 1965 as a private Catholic educational venture. DU provides education according to the guidelines of Christian humanism formulated by Saint Francis de Sales. DU focuses on providing knowledge, related to personal, domestic and communal livelihood. Apart from studies, DU has more than 15 athletic teams, which take part in NCAA Divisions in games such as baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, golf and track events. Also, the Salesian Centre, a subsidiary of DU acts as a research & development facility concerning spirituality and its impact in the present world. DU is sanctioned by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and the National league for Nursing. All business related programs are endorsed by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs.
