Eastern Connecticut State University was founded in 1889 as a liberal arts University at Willimantic, Connecticut, United States. ECSU also has satellite campuses in Groton, Manchester Community College, Capital Community College and Mohegan Sun (Uncasville). ECSU offers more than 30 undergraduate and 50 undergraduate minor programs. The school operates three major academic units: School of Arts and Science, School of Education and School of Professional Studies. ECSU also offers master programs majoring in Education and Organizational Management. Currently ECSU is ranked among the top 30 public schools in the northern region by the U.S. News & World Report in the list of Best Colleges.
