Eastern New Mexico University started its operations in 1934 at Roosevelt County, New Mexico, United States. The main campus of ENMU is located in Portales, while the other two branches are positioned at Ruidoso and Roswell. NMU has a total of 4 colleges: College of Business, College of Education & Technology, College of Fine Arts & College of Liberal Arts & Science and a graduate school. EMU has one of the lowest tuition expenses among 81 other public schools in the Southwest region. EMU is fully recognized by the Higher Learning Commission and is in alliance with the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
