Eurasia International University is a leading private higher educational institution in Armenia. Established in 1996, it has since been dedicated to the mission of providing high quality education that stands in line with the developments of the modern society. In 2004 EIU transitioned to the European Credit Transfer System, which made the instruction compatible with the European Higher Education Area Standards and Bologna Agreement.

Instruction at EIU is organized through a balance of theory and practice within an innovative interdisciplinary framework. The well-established culture of open dialogue on the quality of education, where contributions of all members of the University community are valued, fosters the creation of a teaching and learning environment that motivates and empowers the student. The breadth and flexibility of the curriculum enables students not only to acquire profound knowledge and skills in a particular discipline, but to adopt an interdisciplinary perspective and to become fully immersed into the practical world of the specialization.

The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Law, Management and Foreign Languages.

The Law Department prepares high profile legal practitioners in the fields of Business, Civil, Criminal, Constitutional, Administrative and International Law. The practice-oriented study programs, where legal research and analytical skills are key to the success, serve to advance students’ competences and help them further advance in their careers.

The four-stage BA program of the Management Department lays the foundation for an advanced Professional Master’s program in Business and Management with minors in Accounting and Audit, Insurance and Banking. A recent collaboration between EIU and Lithuanian Mykolas Romeris University, empowered by the support of Microsoft Armenia and the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), gave birth to an innovative Dual Degree Master Program in Electronic Business Administration (E-Business), built to deliver profound knowledge and skills in business management based on cyberspace.

The Department of Foreign Languages implements instruction in the English, German, and French languages. It offers degree programs in English Philology, Pedagogy, Translation Skills and E-Journalism. For students with high academic standing the university offers a secondary specialization (Minor) in Law and/or Management free of charge. Meanwhile, students from other departments can enroll in intensive foreign language courses to improve their language skills in specialization.

The faculty members at EIU are passionate and curious individuals highly qualified in their fields of expertise. They successfully combine solid academic background with ample professional experience toward the implementation of practice-oriented and research-based study programs. Being a vital part of the University community they share our mission of creating a student-centered teaching and learning environment and have an enduring dedication to the pursuit of bringing contemporary methods of instruction, innovative learning techniques, and authenticity into their instruction. The key to the success of EIU students is the close student-professor relationship, which contributes to the sense of university community building.

Internal Quality Assurance System.

To ensure the internal quality of research activities, educational and management processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the institution Eurasia International University established an Internal Quality Assurance Centre. The core objectives of the division are as follows: (i) to foster the correspondence of educational programs with those of European and national standards and guidelines, (ii) contribute to the formation and diffusion of quality and accountability culture, (iii) create and sustain methodological, organizational, technical, and information base for external evaluation and accreditation, (iv) contribute to the realization of the institutional strategy and mission.

Diploma Supplement:

Eurasia International University provides Diploma Supplement to the graduates, which meets the European Commission’s, the Council of Europe’s and UNESCO/CEPES’ created sample. It is designed to provide a description of the nature, level, context, content, and status of the studies that were pursued and successfully completed by the individual named on the original qualification to which the supplement is appended.

Financial Support:

There are various opportunities for tuition compensation based on students’ social status and progress. The following scholarships exist at the university:

- “Turpanjian” scholarship,

The university cooperates with Turpanjian family cհaritable foundation at American university of Armenia. The scholarship is given according to social status of students.

- “Saint Johns” church scholarship,

The scholarship is for students who display high progress. Preference is given to the students from Shirak region.

- “Adourian” scholarship,

This scholarship is for the applicants who have already accomplished their military service.

- A scholarship provided by the partner organization /the benefactor wanted to remain unrevealed/.

It is given for high progress.

There are also other incentive awards at EIU: “Research” award, “Ohanyan” award, “Eurasia” Award, “Teaching” Award etc.
