Georgetown University is an institution offering university education to all, established in 1789, in Washington DC, USA. The University is the oldest Catholic and Jesuit University in the US and one of the world’s bests, strictly following the Jesuits’ system in their method of education (the Jesuits are members of the Society of Jesus). The school aims at producing top class graduates that are morally and academically sound and capable of handling situations successfully in every aspect of life. The school is also notable for its active participation in athletics and is fully accredited by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Georgetown University teaches undergraduate, post-graduate and professional courses including Medicine, Law and Social Sciences, with its schools fully endorsed by the appropriate bodies. The institution itself is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
