The University of Minnesota is a public research university, located in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. Its Learning Abroad Center is entirely dedicated to providing and organizing study, service-learning, research, work, intern, volunteer and travel experiences all over the globe. The center also strives to promote development, understanding, and responsibility in the global environment. The range of program opportunities is huge – 300 programs are made available in more than 70 countries. Programs are all different in length, level, academic focus, teaching format, language requirements, cost and degree of independence, as they are fully customized to the student’s needs and requirements.
