Göteborgs Universitet was founded officially in 1954 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The school has over 35,000 students studying in more than 40 different departments. It offers university education to everyone including the disabled. Gothenburg University is one of the leading universities in Sweden, having several faculties some of which include: Health & Natural Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Fine, applied and performing arts, Social Sciences, Business, Economic and Law, Education amongst others. Göteborgs Universitet also provides web services, service centers, career counseling and students unions. Most of the courses are offered in English language for International students, but Swedish languages courses are also provided for students who are interested in learning the language and culture of the Swedish people.
