The University of Aberdeen was founded in 1495. It is the 3rd oldest university in Scotland and the 5th oldest in the UK. The school proves beyond any doubt, its academic competence due to a very long-term experience in teaching and producing top class graduates who are now found highly successful in significant places globally. The Graduate School for the College of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Aberdeen, offers several graduate and postgraduate degrees with over 1,500 students from more than 100 countries worldwide. The College of Art is comprised basically of 6 schools: Business, Divinity, History and Philosophy, Education, Language and Literature, Law and Social Science.
