Green River Community College was founded in 1945 with a large campus built on over 180 acres of land and offering a very spacious and conducive area for learning. The school is basically a two-year public college, offering several academic degrees and international programs. The main campus located in Auburn not far from Seattle claims to ensure an interesting experience for students. The college has made available special programs for international students such as University Transfer, Intensive English, High School Completion, as well as several degrees and certificates. With over 1,000 international students, the school clearly boasts of quality education offered to foreigners in their respective departments. Moreover, Green River Community College provides courses like Arts, Science, Accounting, Nursing amongst others, to its international student community.
