Situated on Ireland's west coast, Limerick is a friendly place to study. It is a riverside city, and although it is Ireland’s third largest city it is small enough to feel comfortable and at home yet still has all the amenities one needs. Limerick has many attractions, some fascinating historic sights, bars, shops, restaurants, hotels, cinemas, theatres and museums. Limerick also boasts the title of ‘European city of Sport 2011’ . Only an hour from some of Irelands most magical landscapes such as The Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, Bunratty Castle just to mention a few, Limerick provides the perfect environment for students to learn, converse and relax in a friendly atmosphere. The city is also conveniently located a mere 20 minute drive from Shannon international airport. Griffith college itself was established in 1974 in Dublin and now has centres in Cork and Limerick. It is Irelands largest 3rd level independent college. We run classes from 2 – 52 weeks; The English school does not take any academic holiday, we run throughout the year. Our classes do not exceed 15 students and all our teachers are experienced with suitable qualifications. Our school is medium size so this enables the lecturers to build a good rapport and relationship with the students.
