The International School of Madrid is an independent co-educational Primary and Secondary school, aiming to promote the academic, spiritual, physical, and cultural development of its students. The school was established in 1971 as the International Primary School. It offers a British curriculum to children from 3 to 18 years of age. It follows the mission to make all of its pupils fluent in both English and Spanish, regardless of their nationality. The school is recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education and welcomes students of all origins. They are also a member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain.
