Massey University is a university in New Zealand, founded in 1927. It is one of the country’s largest institutions of higher education, welcoming about 36,000 students. Massey University operates three campuses in Palmerston North, Wellington and Auckland. Most of the degrees are offered extramurally within New Zealand and internationally. Another interesting fact is that Massey is the only university in New Zealand, making available degrees in aviation, dispute resolution, veterinary medicine, and nanoscience. Besides, the school has the largest business college, while its degree in veterinary medicine is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association. Massey is strictly committed to innovation, diversity, and research. Massey University staff have won 14 national Tertiary Teaching Excellence awards in the past 10 years.
