Description

New York University (NYU) is a private, research university, established in 1831. The school is located in New York City, USA, with its main campus situated in Manhattan. The school is known to be one of the largest private, nonprofit institutions of higher education in the country. NYU consists of 18 schools, colleges and institutes, and is known to house about 12,500 students. Furthermore, NYU operates study abroad facilities in London, Paris, Florence, Prague, Madrid, Berlin, Accra, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Tel Aviv, Singapore, as well as a liberal arts campus in Abu Dhabi. It plans to open a campus in China, too, as part of its Global Network University initiative.
