Description

Saint Mary's University (SMU) is an institution of higher education, situated in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The TESL Centre at Saint Mary's University is one of the most reputable English language centers in Canada. It makes available a good range of ESL and teacher-training programs, carefully designed to meet the students’ requirements and needs. There is an Intensive English Program option, providing learning opportunities all year round. They include English for Academic Purposes (EAP); University Bridging Program (UBP); English for Personal and Professional/Practical Communication (EPPC); and a One-month ESL Immersion (IMM) program. Besides, the TESL Centre offers services to students enrolled on an undergraduate or graduate program, for whom English is a second language. As a final point, the center also organizes special courses for local or international universities, governments and businesses.
