Santander Euro-Centre was founded in 1991, and is located in the heart of the city of Santander. The school specializes in the teaching of Spanish language and culture, priding itself with its experienced staff and up to date methods. Group classes include no more than 6 students and great emphasis is put on student participation. Courses involve the areas of conversation, comprehension, grammar and written skills. Situational dialogues and task-based activities are widely used, too. Furthermore, students with a more advanced level have the opportunity to study Spanish Culture and Civilization. Other activities are also organized - students are taken on visits around the city, to the cinema, and to typical restaurants once a week. Every weekend there is an excursion to the surrounding area - Picos de Europa, Santillana del Mar, Comillas, Puente Viesgo, etc.
