The University of Cádiz is a public university in Spain, known for its medicine and marine sciences curricula. Its founding goes back to 1979. The school is situated in Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain, but there are three more satellite campuses that it operates: Bahía de Algeciras Campus; Jerez de la Frontera Campus; and Campus of Puerto Real. The school grants, bachelor’s, master’s degrees, PhDs, as well as courses of continuous training and professional degree courses. Some of the schools within the university are these of Modern Languages, Health, Engineering, Labor Relations, Legal and Economic Studies, Advanced Studies, and Pedagogy. One of the first free software offices in Spain was founded at this university, while it also provides a supercomputer for research purposes since 2007.
