The Institutional and International Relations Service is part of the Technical University of Catalonia, also known as UPC-BARCELONATECH. It is the largest engineering university in Catalonia, Spain, and it is sincerely focused on internationalization – the school has the highest number of international PhD students and highest number of international master's degree students.

The International Relations Services office strives to encourage mobility by helping and supporting international students, who come to the university. It gives information and assessment of the city, accommodation, Catalan and Spanish language courses, takes care of the Orientation week, as well as helping students with health insurance and scholarships. Furthermore, it provides support to UPC-BARCELONATECH students, who wish to go on an international exchange program, as well as managing Erasmus-STA grants.
