The University of Tennessee at Martin (UTM) is a campus in the University of Tennessee system, established in 1900. UTM is rurally located, for which reason, it has been mostly specializing in undergraduate studies in education and agriculture. Still, other courses are offered, too, especially in the liberal arts; a rising importance has been given to degrees in business, engineering, and music, too. Furthermore, the school is among the top providers of candidates to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. All in all, the university has been organized into the following colleges: College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences; College of Business and Global Affairs; College of Education, Health, and Behavioral Sciences; College of Engineering and Natural Sciences; College of Humanities and Fine Arts. A final point is that UTM also runs a large experimental farm.
