USAC is a non-profit organization, formed by 33 U.S. member universities. Its main goal is to provide quality, but affordable study abroad programs. The institution has built 30 years of experience in doing so, and currently the programs offered spread around 24 countries and 39 locations. USAC students come from both universities in the consortium, as well as from over 700 US institutions. The programs organized include summer, winter, semester, and year-long language programs, including instruction in Basque, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Hindi, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, etc. There is also a wide range of classes available in English: art history, anthropology, biology, business, communication, cuisine, dance, ecology, economics, education, engineering, health sciences, history, literature, music, tourism, political, sciences, and many others. Scholarships are also available for some of the programs, along with various field trips, conversation partners and home-stay options.
