Drexel ELC is located on the campus of Drexel University, in
a safe residential area near the heart of beautiful, historic
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The city lies on the East Coast of the U.S, about 2 hours by car from mountains, seashore, New York City, and Washington, DC. "Philly" offers many cultural, recreational, and entertainment opportunities. Half-term (6-week) courses during the first or second half of each term. There are 6 levels of instruction. Testing is done at the start of each term. Small classes (10-12 average). Certificates are awarded at the end of full and half term. At least 18 class hours per week are required: 3 hours each morning of Speaking/Listening and Reading/Writing, plus one 3-hour afternoon Special Topic chosen from academic, language skills, business, cultural, or test preparation (TOEFL, TOEIC) topics. Optional free grammar, pronunciation, and conversation classes.
The Global Business English Pre-MBA Program (GLOBE) is designed for prospective and pre-MBA s tudents as well as business professionals. Participants must have a university degree and place into ELC level 4 or higher in both Speaking and Writing. Classes including The Language of Business Information, an integrated skills course focusing on business concepts and key vocabulary related to specific business topics. Other program features include MBA class observation, networking opportunities, lectures and workshops.

Includes tuition ($3,125); estimated living expenses ($3600 for housing, food, books, health Insurance, and personal expenses); application fee ($75); and health insurance ($300). | | Financial Aid: | | Allison Rose Fellowships - Scholarships awarded each term to two or
three continuing full-time students. Allison Rose Fellows receive tuition
remission of $1000 in exchange for office work at the ELC during the term.

kitchen, lounge, & laundry facilities; International House, a private
residence near campus, offers single rooms with shared baths & kitchens;
family homestays in nearby neighborhoods provide private rooms, breakfasts and three family style dinners a week.
