Saint Mary's offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs and has a Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Centre that is highly regarded. Hundreds of international students from more than 80 countries are currently studying in our undergraduate, graduate and intensive English language programs. One of the leading English language institutes in Canada, the TESL Centre at Saint Mary's University offers Intensive English Programs on a beautiful urban campus only moments from a forest park on the Atlantic Ocean. The TESL Centre is located in Halifax which is the capital of the province of Nova Scotia and the financial centre of Eastern Canada. A variety of English programs are offered depending on your needs: English for Academic Purposes, English for Personal and Professional Communication, Advanced Business English, University Bridging Program and a One-month ESL Immersion program.
