The Cultural Centre for Foreigners of the University of Florence was established in 1907 by professors Guido Biagi and Piero Barbera. The initiative started out with courses in Italian Literature, History of Art and Florentine History. The center offers a variety of courses in Italian language and culture, which are all conducted by professors of the University of Florence.
