Beck Academy is an International Baccalaureate School, established in 1963. It was the first public school in South Carolina to be named an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program school. Although the school is formed around traditional values, it concentrates on providing up-date, future-oriented education. It pursues the mission to keep a culturally diverse student body, meeting the academic requirements of all of its students. It strives to create a safe, peaceful environment that prompts students to be responsible citizens of the global community.
