You should be reasonably fit and prepared to take part to the best of your ability. You will be shown how to use all tools and equipment safely before you start each project, and there will always be a Team Leader there to help you. The country has around 800 species of birds, 400 of which are unique to Australia. The Oceans around Australia contain one of the greatest arrays of marine biodiversity on the planet and it is estimated that 80% of the marine species in the country’s southern waters are found nowhere else in the world. Australia also has more than 25,000 different plant species while Europe only supports 17,500.
