| Cross-Cultural Solutions | Russia Yaroslavl |
| Qualifications: |
| As a volunteer in Russia, you will have the unique opportunity to step inside a culture that was hidden behind "the iron curtain" for seventy years. Since the formation of the Russian Federation in 1991, Russia has seen a resurgence of efforts to recover its ancient national heritage through art, architecture and literature. Many of Russia’s best places are only now being truly discovered by the outside world. Covering 6.5 million square miles and spanning two continents and eleven time zones, Russia is the largest country in the world. Within this vast expanse, you’ll find wilderness, lakes, and mountains, as well as hundreds of historically and culturally rich cities.

| Description: |
We proudly represent a diverse spectrum of volunteers from all walks of life. We have families and groups from Australia volunteering alongside teens from Canada, working adults from the UK and American retirees. We have graduate students from Japan, college students from Arkansas and high school students from New York City. We also have "gappers," people who are taking a break before university or within their professional lives. Whether they are looking for college credit, a chance to travel during a career break, or simply a volunteer vacation, they come to Cross-Cultural Solutions from very different parts of the world, and from very different places in life.
We also welcome volunteers with special needs or disabilities. We have experience working with volunteers who are physically challenged, deaf, visually impaired, and mentally challenged. Conditions vary by country and we can advise participants about local resources, available support and the ability to tailor to individual capacities.
Cross-Cultural Solutions international volunteer programs are open to people of all ages, abilities, and all walks of life, year-round. Learn more about how Cross-Cultural Solutions can help you experience another culture like never before while making a difference internationally.
