The gates open at 6am and close at midnight from April to September and at 10pm from October to March. The nearest metro stations are Retiro (line 2), Ibiza (line 9), and Atocha and Estaci\u00f3n del Arte (line 1). Other stops are the statue of the Fallen Angel, the Parterre with its Montezuma cypress and the puppet theatre, which has shows every weekend.
