A diversity of fascinating beaches, cultural centers, landscapes, natural reserves, and squares makes Colombia into one of America’s most pleasing tourist destinations. The Ministry of Tourism deals high seasons the summer (June, July and August), holy week and Christmas season.

Some tourist spots that are found in Bogotá are Bogotá Botanical Garden (includes the biggest plant Amazonian flower and Palma de cera, the national tree of the country); Bolívar Square (features statue of Simón Bolívar sculptered in 1846 by the Italian Pietro Tenerani, the first ever world monument in the city); Capitolio Nacional (building on Bolivar Square, the structure of which started in 1847, by govern of president Tomás Cipriano de Mosquera, and was not over until 1926); Gold Museum (it shows an extraordinary selection of its prehistoric gold work collection); and Luís Ángel Arango Library (founded in 1923 and presently under the government of the Bank of the Republic).

National park based in Columbia namely Amacayacu (settled at southern part in the Amazonas Department which means "River of the Hamocs"); Los Katíos (situated in northwest Colombia and crossed 226 square miles, about 172,800 and partly of the Darién Gap, which crosses Colombia and Panama); and Los Nevados (located in the central region of colombian Andes and has many interesting places like Swann snow mountain, Green Lake, Otún Lake, etc.).

Some of the most attractive beaches in the country are Cartagena (nearly bordered by the Caribbean Sea and passed around the land of Laguito and Bocagrande); Bocachica (comprises Fort San José, one of the two outmost forts which gives early protection of ancient Cartagena); Playa Blanca (provides white sand and waters of blue white and green); and Rosario Islands (render the best natural conditions, aquarium and a diversity of hotels and restaurants).
