Puerto Rico has a warm, tropical climate with temperature of about 27°C all through out the year. Normally, the dry season is from November to May and rainy season is between June and November. There are no documented instances of snow falling n the country, however seldom it is brought in from somewhere else as media hype exploit. The country goes through the Atlantic hurricane season, alike to the remains of the North Atlantic oceans and Caribbean Sea. Usually, a yearly rainfall is added to tropical hurricane, which is more common throughout the times of La Niña than El Niño. Every 11 years is the average hurricane that goes by within the areas of the island.

In south, the temperature is a few degrees higher than north. There is a temperature swing of about 4 °C between summer and winter due to the hot waters of the semitropical Atlantic Ocean, which extensively change cooler air pulling in from north and northwest. Temperatures in the central inner mountains are constantly cooler than the remains of the island.
