Electricity, Phone, Internet, TV, Radio, Public Transportation, Banking, Postal and Other Services in Holy See (Vatican City State)

The Vatican is a very small state, but has an effective transport system. There are no airports nor is there a highway for cars to use. The state is too small to have something so massive to be built. There is however a heliport located at the Western corner of the Vatican.

The Vatican heliport was constructed during the time of the late Pope Paul VI. The heliport is used by the Pontiff when he goes out for journeys and other religious congregations outside of the Vatican. When the heliport is viewed from top, you can see the gorgeous French Garden that surrounds it. The open space makes it inviting and at the same time safe for landing and taking-off. The helicopter that is used at this heliport by the Pontiff is an Italian military helicopter.

When it comes to the communication system available at the Vatican, there is the presence of postal and telecommunications. The postal system of the Vatican was founded in 1929 and releases its own postage stamps that have the photo of the Pope and the popular locations of the state. The postal service of the Vatican state is said to be the best in the world.

The presence of the internet and the telephone has modernized the very ancient culture of the Vatican. The state has its own internet service which is provided within the Vatican City. There is also the presence of the Vatican Radio which transmits broadcasts on both the FM frequency and also on the internet. Despite the aged city of the Vatican, it is very much adjusted to the modern life of the outside world.
