The finest beaches that are found in the country are Punta Arenas (recognized for its white sand and a place for local fishermen), Playa Parguito (southeast of Isla Margarita), Playa Caribe (located near north of Juan Griego and has numerous food stands and restaurants close to the beach), Playa El Agua (special for local and tourists and mainly the ocean side has a row of shops and restaurants), Playa El Yaque (best place for kitesurfing, windsurfing and there are restaurants, shops and hotel near to the beachfront) and Choroni (sited in Aragua).

Places included on the UNESCO World Heritage list are Canaima National Park (sited in Bolívar, created in 1962 and in 1994 became one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the feature of the area, which is the tepuis), Santa Ana de Coro (established by Spanish colonists in 1527) and the City University of Caracas (stated as the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000 and Carlos Raúl Villanueva is the architect who designed the building).

Some of the national parks in the country are Guácharo Cave (sited in the town of Caripe and a place to a thousands of oilbirds), Henri Pittier (the oldest national parks in the country and recognized for its birdlife), Médanos de Coro (situated in the state of Falcón, which consist of anteaters, foxes, kestrels, lizards, pigeons and rabbits and found in 1974), Parima Tapirapecó (the biggest national park in the country, which is located in the cities of Atabapo and Río Negro) and San Esteban (the area is well-known for its natural reservation, which is situated in Carabobo and established in 1987).

Other interesting places for travelers include Angel Falls (the world’s highest waterfall at 3,212 ft and located in Gran Sabana state of Bolivar), Palacio de Miraflores (is the official office of the country’s president and sited in Caracas), Jesús Soto Museum of Modern Art (the museum was formed by artist Jesús Soto), and Children's Museum of Caracas (started in 1982 and the objective of the said museum is to teach the children regarding arts, culture, science and technology).
