Visa application requirements for Yemen

You are here: Countries / Yemen

If planning on going to Yemen, one has to obtain a visa from the Consulate, except for nationals of Syria, Jordan and Iraq because they can already enter the country without a visa. Transit passengers, who are continuing their trip in the same or to the next connecting airplane as long as they possess valid onward or return documentation and they are not leaving the airport premises, are also exempted. The government though refuses to permit entry and transit accommodations to holders of Israeli passports, or to those who have valid or expired visas for Israel, or even those who have passports with stamp evidence having visited Israel.
