The Victoria Falls is undoubtedly the most popular tourist destination in Zimbabwe. Described as the most majestic waterfalls in the world by many, the Victoria Falls is the largest waterfalls in the whole world which stretches 2.5 kilometers. Visitors of the Victoria Falls can enjoy water sports such as white-water rafting where Zimbabwe is also popular for. There is also the “Flight of the Angels” which is a tour flight above the waterfalls where one can have a clear view of the picturesque waterfalls. There are also river cruises which will take you to the site, but the view from the top is still the best choice if you want to see the whole falls in all angles.

The Eastern Highlands in the east part of Zimbabwe is composed of the Chimanimani, Vumba, and Inyanga mountain ranges. It is a beautiful mountainous region with waterfalls, streams, and rare wildlife which is a perfect spot for hiking and trekking.

The Great Zimbabwe is ruins of the ancient Africa. There are tall towers made of granite rocks which stand without mortar and is believed to have formed between the 13th and 15th century.

The Hwange National Park is the country’s largest park filled with wildlife reserves. It is where you can find species like the gemsbok and the brown hyena. It is also home to the largest elephant population in Africa.

The Matobo National Park in Bulawayo has within its walls granite rock formations and ancient rock paintings. Also, Cecil Rhodes’ grave is located inside the park. Cecil Rhodes is the person whom the British named the country after (Rhodesia).
