Accounting Minor
With an accounting minor, students will learn simple financial accounting concepts, scrutinise balance sheet and income statements and uncover how managerial decisions can be made using accounting. Students need to understand the basics of accounting to succeed in business. The reason for this is because accounting is the language of business. Accounting is how people interpret and convey information about a business. Studying the accounting minor at Suffolk as a Business student will require students to take 3 courses (9 credit hours) and as a College of Arts and Sciences student, 6 courses (18 credit hours) will be needed.
