Aeronautics/Flight Science (Global Aviation option)

Saint Louis University and SLU-Madrid offer the global aviation option in aeronautics with a concentration in flight science. This original program is built to educate and instruct pilots to be qualified for minimum change between any certification standards in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It is a new enterprise and it merges the best of U.S. and European instruction and a U.S. bachelor's degree. This program is the first of its kind offered at a Jesuit university. At Saint Louis University's Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology, students learn to fly in some of the most advanced light aircraft, such as, the Diamond DA-20, the Cirrus SR20 with Garmin Perspective and the Piper Seminole with the Garmin G5 electronic flight instruments. Students also further their training in a state-of-the-art Canadair Regional Jet-200 simulator.
