Arts Administration Minor
Arts administrators have to have strong managerial abilities and good marketing knowledge. Arts administrators supervise day-to-day business at museums, theatre and dance companies, galleries non-profits organisations and government agencies. They run galleries, produce plays and get people to attend concerts. Suffolk’s multi-disciplinary Arts Administration minor will give students a range of skills that are required to work behind the scenes. Students will study the financial and legal requirements of arts organisations, planning for marketing and funding and community outreach. Arts Administration embraces courses from the College of Arts & Sciences and the Sawyer Business School, from business law and small business management to marketing and social media.
