Bircham University’s Childhood & Special Education program creates a connection between the realms of child-care, early education, pre-primary and primary programs. Concepts are efficiently presented and intended to give students an organised view of the “what, why and how” of developmentally appropriate methods. The program deals with various aspects of adaptation such as age, individual, social and cultural. It’s conceived for current and future early childhood specialists that work with children between three and twelve. Furthermore, the Childhood & Special Education program includes the characteristics of young students with special needs, the modern assistive technologies and the latest definitions and categories of developmental challenges. Subjects covered on this course include: Early Child Care, Child Education: Learning, Child Education: Family, Child Development: Language, Math & Science, Child Observation & Guidance, Children with Special Needs, Gifted & Talented Children, Childhood Education, Learning & Memory Development, Cognitive Development, Disabilities & Assistive Technology, Special Education, Multilingual Children and Children Education Programs.
