Doctorate in Business Studies

The Ph.D. in Business Studies program is designed for students who wish to progress an academic career and acquire instruction in research methods specifically designed to influence advances in the field of Business Studies. Job profiles suited to graduates of this program are: teachers, researchers, academics and other roles that largely involve duties related to Business Studies. Applicants for the PhD in Business Studies program can register for the full-time or part-time format. To register for part-time, the candidate must have been permitted part-time doctoral student status by the Academic Committee. The committee takes the candidates circumstances into account when deciding, such as: work, family and personal circumstances. With the part-time format, the program is spread over a maximum of five years. With the full-time format, the program is over three years, both formats start with admission and finish with presentation of the doctoral dissertation.
