Environmental Science
Suffolk University’s time-honoured Environmental Science major is now housed in the Centre for Urban Ecology and Sustainability (CUES). This program is designed to offer a more pioneering, multidisciplinary approach to exploring and understanding how urban societies work in the context of environmental sustainability. The Environmental Science major offers students a wide background in physical and biological sciences that they can use in speciality environmental science courses. Students then investigate the areas of policy, regulation and environmental ethics to discover how scientific conclusions are assimilated into society. Environmental Science students may design their major to emphasize biological related influences or chemistry impacts.
