Sawyer Business School’s Finance department offers a trailblazing syllabus that focuses on the ever-changing demands of the international financial world. Students are introduced to the newest educational technology, including StockTrak, Bloomberg, Compustat, CRSP and Morningstar. Sawyer Business School’s trading room gives a simulated environment where students can examine the up-to-date stock quotes and assess exchange rates; just like professional traders do. Professors at Suffolk University offer a first-hand international perspective because many have lived, worked and studied in countries all over the world including Uganda, Tunisia, China, and Iran. Other faculty members are leading researchers who have written in top academic publications, such as the Journal of Economics and Business and the Journal of Corporate Finance. Concentrations include: Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions, Financial Planning and Investment.
