Graphic Design
Graphic designers inspire the way people think by transforming information, ideas and emotions into visual signs. Graphic design is behind all product packaging, the websites people surf on, the signs that help someone navigate around and the book a reader just can’t stop reading. Suffolk University’s NASAD-accredited Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design gives students the scholarly and practical skills they will need to be successful. In classes and through internship openings, students will gain experience in the field before they have even graduated. Suffolk’s syllabus reflects fresh technologies and industry tendencies and blends them with formatting, artwork, photography and design history. Knowing how to use the latest software is important however, to design well students will need to learn skills in analysis, communication, drawing and conceptual design.
