Human Rights

Bircham University’s Human Rights program discusses various legal, politics and moral issues at both national and international levels. The aim is to identify the moral and political motivations underlying worldwide and local regimes and Human Rights organisations. Furthermore, it addresses how countries and political parties change the principles of Human Rights to their own interests. The Human Rights program emphasises some key elements for developing techniques that ensure the real-world application of Human Rights principles globally. Subjects covered on this course include: Cross Cultural Social Perspectives, Human Rights, Human Rights Public Policy, Human Rights & Public Institutions, Comparative Human Rights Law, Protection of Human Rights, International Legal Procedures, World Politics & Globalization and International Public Law. Subjects account for 3 academic credits each. The Human Rights module is available at Specialist, Expert, Bachelor's, Master's & Ph.D. (Doctoral) Degree levels.
