Interior Design
Interior design transforms and enhances society. At Suffolk University, interior design students will gain the knowhow and skills to influence the way people live, work and play. Originality, creative problem solving, safeguarding of natural resources, consideration of building codes and laws and awareness of human behaviour all play their part in the work of an interior designer. As a Bachelor of Fine Arts major in interior design, students will cultivate a thorough knowledge of history, communication and design skills, design theory, ecological and socially-conscious design, lighting and furniture design and code obedience. Students will become fluent in two- and three-dimension design software and computer hardware, both essential tools for the modern designer.
