Politics, Philosophy & Economics
Suffolk University's Politics, Philosophy & Economics program is an interdisciplinary major that pulls from three academic departments. Politics, Philosophy & Economics will give students a foundation in ethics, policy and economics. Students will acquire a complete understanding of the intricacy of modern and enduring social issues, getting students ready to be part of the solution to political and social challenges. Politics, Philosophy & Economics students obtain knowledge and abilities from all three disciplines, improve their skill to argue and write with style, simplicity and accuracy and learn to manufacture and assess information. Because of the multi-disciplinary character of this major, students can tailor their studies to match up with their interests and objectives. Students can pick classes on international economics or human rights or they can take courses on the philosophy of law or American legal system.
