Public Health
SLU's undergraduate major in public health educates students about health disparities in local, regional, national and international peoples. If students opt to major in public health at Saint Louis University as an undergraduate, they'll learn why some populations are healthier than others and they’ll consider factors like behaviour, the environment and social structures. SLU's College for Public Health and Social Justice offers a degree for undergraduate students and an accelerated Bachelor of Science/Master of Public Health (M.P.H.). Students can complete the BS in four years and the MPH in five years. Students in SLU's undergraduate public health program learn about global health trends such as the biological factors of humans and microorganisms, epidemic responses and other issues that form the basis of public health.
