Theatre
Suffolk University’s theatre major is immersive. This is different to audition-only majors, Suffolk’s program lets students take part in student productions from their first day. In fact, all students need to perform twice and work behind the scenes twice before they graduate. Students will get hands-on training with the university’s partners at Suffolk’s celebrated Modern Theatre and at local companies. As part of this hands-on program, students will find a voice as a writer, director, actor or designer. Students will receive either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in theatre, dependant on their area of focus which include: Performance, Musical Theatre, Directing, Playwriting, Technical Theatre and Design, Stage Management or Arts Management.
