The University of Phoenix was founded in 1976, and currently has more than 200 campuses worldwide; it provides the opportunity for adult learners to complete associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in over 100 degree programs – on campus, through the means of evening and weekend classes, or online. As far as the Salt Lake City campus in Utah is concerned, classes are usually organized once a week to give students the option to incorporate learning into their work life. Many of the degrees, offered at that campus can be taken online, too, but students have to ensure that the program is delivered in the format they require prior to enrolling. In all cases, instructors own advanced degrees and have gained substantial levels of experience.
