Brewster Academy is an independent, co-educational boarding school based two hours away from Boston, USA. Established in 1820, the institution currently receives about 360 students in the grades 9-12 as well as postgraduate. The school puts great emphasis on the use of technology during the teaching process, for which reason all students and faculty use laptops, while teachers have access to software tools that allow them to design and teach the curriculum, also ensuring constant communication among students, parents and administrators. Through online portfolios, students post their work to be reviewed and evaluated by faculty and shared with parents. As far as extracurricular activities are concerned, the school has made available more than 25 student clubs and organizations. Brewster Academy also participates in a wide range of community service projects and offers challenging leadership opportunities.
